Presidential Amnesty Programme Officials Visits Gregory University Uturu

To validate the student scholarship programme and further strengthen the relationship between Gregory University Uturu and the Presidential Amnesty Programme (PAP), the PAP officials paid a courtesy visit to GUU, today 19th August 2024.

Present to receive them were the Vice Chancellor, Prof. C. U Njoku; Deputy Vice Chancellor Administration, Prof. Uwaoma Kalu; and the Registrar, Mr. Maliki Vincent.

The Vice Chancellor, Professor C. U. Njoku warmly welcomed them, expressed gratitude for the visit, and assured that the university is a safe environment for students to complete their studies.

 

Representing the PAP were Tony Okon, Assistant Head of the Education Department, and Ebimobo-Ere Borme, Student Registration Officer.

Addressing the PAP students currently studying at GUU, Tony Okon outlined the dos and don’ts and provided guidelines governing them as Presidential Amnesty students.

Among other guidelines, he emphasized the importance of avoiding cultism, examination malpractice, and illicit gratification, and encouraged them to communicate with the school management if they encounter any challenges.
