Gregory University, Uturu Announces the 2023/2024 Scholars Work Experience Programme (SWEP)
The Students’ Industrial Work Experience Scheme (SIWES) Unit of Gregory University, Uturu is pleased to announce the commencement of the 2023/2024 Scholars Work Experience Programme (SWEP). This specialized five-week programme is designed to prepare scholars for the six-month compulsory Industrial Training (IT), equipping them with practical knowledge and skills in their respective fields.
The SWEP is scheduled to take place from Monday, September 9, 2024, to Friday, October 11, 2024. Scholars are expected to return to campus from Saturday 7 to Sunday 8 September 2024.
Programme Scope: The SWEP is specifically organized for scholars in the following departments:
200/300 Level Scholars of the College of Agriculture
200/300 Level Scholars of the College of Engineering
200 Level Architecture Scholars (College of Environmental Sciences)
300 Level Scholars of the College of Medicine and Health Sciences (Anatomy & Physiology)
200 Level Scholars of the College of Natural & Applied Sciences (BCM, CSC, MCB)
200/300 Level Scholars of Radiography and Radiation (Faculty of Health Sciences)
Payment Information: Each participating scholar is required to pay a sum of ₦60,000. This fee covers accommodation, laboratory consumables, and logistics. Additionally, scholars will be issued a SWEP manual at the approved price by the University Management.
