GUU COLLEGE OF LAW BEGINS LAW WEEKS, VISIT MARIST BROTHERS PRIMARY SCHOOL FOR CLINICAL OUTREACH<\/strong><\/p>\n

To create legal awareness, render community service, and civic education, the Law Students of Gregory University Uturu (GUU) on Tuesday, 23rd June 2026 embarked on an outreach and sensitization visit to Marist brothers primary school in Abia State.
\nDuring the visit the Director of the Law Clinic College of Law, Dr. Mrs. Eluchie C. Happiness in her address, commended the pupils for their attentiveness and enthusiasm, noting that nurturing law-abiding citizens begins with educating children on their rights, duties, and responsibilities.<\/p>\n

\nLaw Lecturer, Barrister Raymond Uche, in his remark encouraged the pupils to remain focused on their studies and to aspire to become future leaders who will contribute positively to society.
\nDuring the interactive session, the pupils of Primary Five and Six pupils were enlightened on the importance of obeying rules, respecting authority, and demonstrating exemplary behaviour both at school and within their communities.
\nSpeaking during the event, two law scholars, Davis Stephanie and Akweke Chidera delivered insightful presentations on the topics \u201c Respect for the Law\u201d and \u201cGood Behaviour.\u201d They emphasized that laws are essential for maintaining order and harmony in society and encouraged the pupils to cultivate virtues such as honesty, discipline, respect, and responsibility from an early age.<\/p>\n

\nAs part of the outreach programme, note books and writing pens were distributed to the pupils to support their academic development. The gesture was warmly received by the School Director, and Head Mistress, Rev. Vincent Aribo, and Mrs. Mary Nwabuzor, who expressed gratitude to the University Founder, Prof. Gregory Ibe, the Chancellor, Management, and the Dean College of Law GUU, Dr. Mrs. Chioke Ngozi, for their generosity and commitment to community engagement.<\/p>\n
