The Vice Chancellor of Gregory University Uturu (GUU), Prof. Cele Njoku, has reaffirmed the institution’s commitment to fostering positive and productive collaborations and partnerships with other institutions to support development and make meaningful academic contributions to society.
This commitment was reiterated on Wednesday 19th March, during a courtesy visit by members of Abia State University Uturu (ABSU), including; The DVC Academic, Prof. E. A. Akubugwo, Dean of Engineering Engr. Prof. E. E. Anyanwu, Deputy Director Academic Planning Dr. Obisike, HoD Civil Engineering, Engr. Prof. G. O. Osueke, HoD Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Engr. Dr. C. E. Uchegbu, HoD Mechanical Engineering, Engr. Dr. C. P. Nwadinobi, Engr. Umebali, and Engr. E.C. Amanamba
The visit was in connection with the existing Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between the two universities, which began in 2021 and aimed to facilitate valuable collaborations in the engineering sector, among others.
Also in attendance to receive the delegation were the Deputy Vice Chancellor, Academic, Prof. Regina Ogali; Registrar, Vincent Maliki; Librarian, Prince Ikpo Okoraofor; and the Dean of the College of Engineering, Prof. Udonne Joseph.
Prof. Cele Njoku assured that both institutions will continue to benefit from the MOU and the advantages it brings.
