It is that time of the year again when the Muslim Ummah are gathered to commemorate the experience of the birth of the Holy Prophet Mohammed (SAW). This year’s celebration offers us the opportunity to ponder on the blessings and significance which the birth of the Holy Prophet (SAW) portends.
On this holy and joyful occasion, we must continue to offer our sincere thanks to God while ensuring peace and continuous harmony among ourselves. Even so, at this time when the world is currently experiencing a global pandemic, we must as a matter of precaution, celebrate in keeping with all health protocols as stipulated the government to further protect ourselves and our loved ones.
Here in Abia State and throughout our nation, Nigeria, I call upon all Muslim Ummah to conscientiously strive to build and maintain togetherness and peace, while joining hands to continuously bring to existence, a renewed Nigeria of our dreams. May the blessings of Allah (SWT) continuously abide with our nation and give us the courage to make impactful decisions in furthering the fortunes of our country.
May this special occasion of the birth of the Holy Prophet Mohammed (SWT) bring peace, prosperity and untold happiness to everyone and may this joyous celebration provide to us immense showers of the blessings of Allah (SWT). May Allah (SWT) accept your good deeds and ease the sufferings of all people throughout the world even as He light up the paths and lead Nigerians to happiness, success and peace.
